The 1st Partners’ Meeting for the “Sustainable Tools & Activities for Rural Tourism and Ecotourism SME’s Growth” (StarGrowth) project was successfully held on 11 January 2024 at the Technology Park Ljubljana (Slovenia).

Funded by the EU Single Market Programme, the initiative aims to enhance the sustainable growth of SMEs operating in the rural tourism and ecotourism sectors in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Romania, and Italy. Through the provision of technical and financial assistance, StarGrowth will increase awareness, foster development, and enhance the capacity of SMEs in implementing sustainable innovations.

During the meeting, the consortium partners gathered to discuss the interim results of the project, as well as the impact of the Open Calls and the ecotourism market overview.

The StarGrowth project is an important international initiative, and we are confident that it will significantly contribute to the development of SMEs in the rural tourism and ecotourism sectors.
